Advanced Coaching Training - ICC Business Coach for Indivuduals

This is an advanced training open to ICC certified coaches who have already taken the Corporate Coaching course.

The course is divided into five phases.

1. The Executive coaching training.
This is a four day training.

What you will learn on this training:
- Analysis and integration of your coaching resources
- The phases of executive coaching and how to conduct them
- The particular challenges of executive coaching and how to overcome them
- Using systemic thinking and leverage.
- Advanced questioning skills specifically for executives.
- Generating systemic perspectives
- Using metaphors in executive coaching
- Using your intuition
- Executive accountability
- Using a Personal Development Plan (PDP) for executives
- Giving feedback to executives
- Measuring results for executive coaching
- Practicing your skills on case studies
- The practicalities of executive coaching – how to arrange your executive coaching practice.
- Coahcing to deal with business politics

Extra benefits:
Participants will also work in teams to prepare a presentation on business coaching in the training.
Peer coaching every day.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Those participants who wish to be certified as ICC Executive coach will need to complete the following projects after the training.

2. Book summary / Review
To make a written review of three books from a reading list of relevant books on executive coaching provided at the training. This summary / review will be distributed to all the participants and the trainer for comments and feedback.

3. A self-coaching project.
Each participant will work on a project of his or her own self-development. They need to present their goals for the project; the values it embodies and their action plan to the trainer within one month of the end of the training. This project can involve a course of study, or any self development activity. The project needs to be completed in six months and a written report given to the trainer.

4. Executive coaching project.
Participants will coach executive clients for a total of 30 hours. The minimum number is three executives, the maximum number is eight executive clients. They need to present a written report of these coaching projects to the trainer within one year of the initial training. A video with a written commentary is also acceptable. The written material need only present feedback and must be consistent with the confidentiality agreed between coach and client. Each client will also be asked to give feedback to the ICC about the coaching process.

5. Integration/supervisionday
There will be an integration and learning day approximately six months after the initial training.

All coaches will be given feedback on all phases and if necessary further tasks they need to do to achieve certification.
